American Cheese Month celebrates North America’s delicious and diverse cheeses, farmers, cheesemakers, retailers, cheesemongers, and chefs who bring cheese creations to your table.
Its purpose is to:
Recognize and raise awareness of the quality and diversity of American cheeses;
Support and promote great cheese, local foods, family farms, traditional cheese-making methods, and sustainable production models;
Generate revenue for the American Cheese Education Foundation, which supports critical industry research, education, and scholarships.
